Christopher...

 That boy darting off is indeed Mr. Christopher.... these days he also runs like that not only a football but also when I pull the camera out lol.

Chris is fast learning that Texas football is much different from what he had in Minnesota.  Down here he has practice Mon,Tues, Thurs, and Fri from 6:30-8:30pm!  And its much hotter.

The end of the school year into the summer was very difficult on Chris' asthma. He had been in and out of the hospital and doctor's office.  It seems to be under control now but we are always on the watch.

He is very excited about 4th grade coming up.

Kimberly....

 Little Miss Kimmie is back to cheering agian... she is a proud Sooners Cheerleader.  Watching her grow is AMAZING, sometimes its hard to believe that she is only 6!

Kimmie is big time into the Jonas Brothers and was lucky enough to attend their concert on June 20th here in Arlington!  (Photo album coming to the side bar SOON)

Kindergarten when well even though school down here is run a it different from that of those in Minnesota. We are proud to inform all that Kimmie is moving on to the First Grade in the Fall!

Maddison.....

 WOW Maddie has grown so quickly since my last update!  She is now proud member of the "Big Girl Club" and we all could not be more proud of here!  No more pullups WOO HOO!!!!

Maddie enjoys spending her Mondays (and any other day she can talk me into going) at the zoo where she hussles off to sethe Hippos first, then the monkies follewed by the snakes and lizards.... all on the way to and from are just a bonus.

She has also become a jumping pro with her brother and sister in the backyard on our 14ft trampoline.

On those days that are to hot to go outside she can be found chillin alone quietly watching Sponge Bob and singing her ABC's

Soooo Sorry....

I am a bad bad bad blogger lol....  I promise to do my best from today on to keep everyone up to date on the kiddos and all much better.

Christmas 2008

Well it was a blast to say the least however very different then what we are all used to.
There was no snow, lots of wind and it was in the the 70's... all signs that we are not in Minnesota anymore.

Besides all that this year was a special Christmas... now that we are in Texas we are closer to Pappy and Grandma Penny.  We have not seen them for 6 years which means that they had yet to meet Kimmie and Maddie.

Grandpa Penny took charge in the kitchen and spoiled us with a ton of goodies including ome incredible shrimp gumbo, a massive turkey and ham and a ton of other yummy stuff!

Maddie and her pumpkin

  Maddie had a blast gutting and decorating her first pumpkin!  It was made ten times more exciting since she got to enjoy it without her big brother and sister...  It was gooey and stinky but oh so fun!  Notice the bit of pumpkin still on her face in the photo above!
    

Ike...

We spent the weekend visiting Brian in Copprass Cove, Tx.
It looked as if Ike was heading our way and then he took a turn to the east.  We spent the weekend doing a lot of swimming!  Kimmie was soooo brave!  She strapped on her life jacket and was going straight from the shallow end to the deep end AND she was jumping off into the deep end over and over!  Maddie spent her time with Daddy but she to was showing off her little swimmer inside lol.  Christopher was trying hard to figure the swimming thing out.  He is doing really good under water however the poor kid has zero body fat so the idea of floating just is not working so well for him.
        

Maddison...

 Maddison is LOVING her time alone lol maybe to much! She has also decided to come to turns with the fact that Mommy is not going to give up on taking her photo!  Now she is working the camera.

     

Kimberly....

  Kimberly is really enjoying Texas life!  She is still talking about her school pals in Minnesota quite a bit however she is quickly making new buddies in her class.

Of course she is currently obsessed with Joe Jonas at the moment, sorry Corbin you got booted....
